I got this image from google, illustrating a father and his immense love for his child. A love that is there perpetually, a love so divine and a love so secure.
My Dad
He may be a strict father but his unspannable love braves the distance and the homesick. He doesn’t want to be away from the family but because he wants financial stability, he went abroad to work. He is the best engineer I know.
My Lolo Daddy
He passed away last year. Even though we weren’t able to see each other often, we became close because of his illness which is Emphysema. An industrious, energetic father he checks his children if he have time. And despite his achievements [a topnotcher of his course] he keep his low profile and humility.
My Lolo Vicente
He passed away when I was in fourth grade. A wise grandfather that cares deeply for his grandchildren. A man of God, and a college instructor by profession. I can remember those days when I was still young, he would ask me “kumain ka na ba?” then run his fingers around his tummy because his voice is a bit hoarse.
Our Father
Well, Jesus might be the father who will or should receive the most Happy Father’s Day greetings. His love is so divine for each and everyone of us, even our fathers. The love that goes beyond the definition of sacrifice, the love so pure it saved us from eternal suffering.
