How would you differentiate chance, to destiny?
“Destiny would be the broader perspective of things…
It is, in a sense… the roadmap God has planned for us…
Chance is what we can call the crossroads the we encounter as we walk the path of our destiny :)”
During the lunch break before the youth program for the afternoon, I saw the latest edition of Panorama. It contains lots of inspiring articles there. As I browsed the last portions of the magazine, I saw the article entitled Chance or Destiny. It is about a conversation of two men in the social security beneficiary sections, or something like that. About a husband living peacefully in his humble abode in Catanduanes, until an accident occured and resulted into the untimely demise of his wife. He thinks he is the one to be blamed.
Chances for me, is like lotto. A matter of probability. Not everyone gets equal chances, some are blessed with a big chance while some are not. Unlike destiny, it is like a blueprint of someone’s life. And God is the architect behind that blueprint, placed perfectly in His plans. So now we can beg to differ from forest that life is like a box of chocolates, you’ll never know what you’ll get. Because we mold it, and we decide for ourselves. For the twists and warps of our lives, He has better plans than ours because He can foresee everything our vision cannot look. Living alone makes our destinies revolve around us, and destiny envelopes every chance you encounter in your life.
