I don’t have any relative listed on the manifest. But they are all my “kababayans” which I do not know by heart but we reside in one country. I pity the men, women and children whose lives were ended by a storm. I wan’t to question God why things like these happen, the innocent lives of many are wasted because of greed and power? But I believe He has reasons that are beyond our comprehension. It may be unfair, but He has plans for everyone from the moment we were born.

As I compose this message, I prayed for the souls of those included in this tragedy and those who were also involved in the past tragedies. May their souls find refuge and peace with God’s side.

This is the most moving part of the song Tears, which is the OST of the hit Korean Movie Windstruck. I think love could really ease the pain and sorrow each and everyone is feeling. I know it could be as hard, but we should go on with our lives and hope for a better tomorrow ahead of us. Justice should be served as our friends who passed away deserve it so much.
