My Fave Five Level Up! Games
Aug 19th, 2007 by SniperAngel

I’m a self-confessed computer addict. And I’ve played most of the games launched three or four years ago. Here is my list of personal favorites and how they left an impact to my gaming experience.
5. Rising Force Online
I was mesmerized by the time I saw its trailer with the OST entitled One. I was stunned on how that Corite wreak havoc to the aggressive Accretian. Cool graphics, interactive community and scientific approach makes it appealing to mecha and fantasy fanatics like me. Currently on Episode 2, which is packed with good features for resident gamers and newcomers. I think I played this game for a day or two and I’m planning to pay Altrax a visit.
4. Freestyle Online
Ohh.. the frustration on basketball. I think this was my compensation, because I can’t play strenuous activities. I’m so limited to board games and mild exercises because of my back problem. I’ve been playing FS for almost a year now [or more than a year I think], I’m a Shooting Guard named after a dewormer generic name. Lol.
3. Fly for Fun
I think Fly for Fun has the coolest [or should I say goofiest] trailers ever created. The trailer is about the comparison of other games like Ragnarok, Khan and MU Online hunting manually for potions and loots. The main feature of this game is the ability of players to fly using brooms or boards. My siblings play Flyff from time to time [this is their favorite MMO] and I’m also playing this though not as hardcore as them.
2. Rose Online [Rush on Seven Episodes]
Despite the fact that we no longer have Rose nowadays, it is one of the most successful games of Level Up. Its cute graphics and extremely customizable character equipment appealed to many Filipino gamers for more than a year or two. I remembered that time when I almost got a nosebleed when I found out that the level requirement for second class in this game is Lv100.
1. Ragnarok Online
The original. The game that started it all. The game that I never thought I’ll be playing for almost five years now. Ragnarok Online is the MMORPG closest to my heart as it catered all my wants in a game. Although being branded nowadays as “ancestral online game”, I still stand proud that I play this game until now. The most important thing here is the friends I met and even out of the game we still manage to communicate and keep in touch. I also met quality people and acquaintances that share the same passion as I do.
Technology brings people together. Leisure, convenience and as a bridge. As games are said to be part of technology, it is a part of my ever revolving life. This is my second reflection to GM Tristan’s Group Writing Project.

Nice entry! Thanks for joining
