Top Three: Joining a Guild, My Family- Eternal Breaker
Being a Beta Player I’ve worked with several guilds. Some for fun, some for plain in-game companionship. But sometimes we find the rarest of gems in the most unexpected instances. This is my family- The Eternal Breaker Guild.

Warriors and winners in deed, won friends and loved straight to the heart. This is Eternal Breaker; a guild that skimmed through generations, a guild that stayed beyond in-game reasons. A guild that beats and jams with the others in search for respect, honor and glory.

Eternal Breaker is a guild tightly woven with friendship, love, faith and cooperation. A guild led by Paul Alba, with his beautiful better-half Mherrie. With second in-command couples Kristine and Melford, Carolyn and Lester, and Raine and James together with Erj, Darren, Jino, Geraldine and Alharron. A guild in a firm foundation of friendship, common goal, and power of love.

The guild doesn’t pose or brag any monstrous character. It doesn’t have any boss cards to date. But we can take pride of our committed, cooperative, and cute members. We enjoy every moment everyone is online, and it is more of a quality over quantity basis. We can break the emperiums of the finest guilds in Chaos, though there are times we experience difficulty defending them. But still, fun is there. Loads of fun. The guild also features a regular boss hunt session at least once a week, and some pvp sparring sessions whenever the need arises for some actual skill training.

Communication is the key why the guild still stands despite the fierce winds of change, and the harsh storms of rebellion. I didn’t say other guilds share the same passion and connection as ours. But some take friendship into a different, negative route. There are betrayals, hardships, and broken relationships. But along the way, it makes each and everyone of us stronger than what we think we are.

Top Two: The Server Merge- The Family of Chaos

A family established by experience, friendship, and sportsmanship finally joins the other edge of the world with Loki in a historical event which is the server merge. From nine commercial servers it was trimmed down into six. Chaos and Loki formed Baldur, Fenrir and Odin fromed Tyr while Iris, Sarah and Lydia formed Freya. Baldur, Tyr and Freya joins Sakray, URDR and Thor in the grand scheme of Philippine Ragnarok Online.

I’ve been a Ragnarok Player for about five years already and despite new servers are launched, Chaos left a mark in me. It’s like a seed that continued to grow and never let go. I’ve met so many quality people here. Friends, comrades and enemies as well. Chaos remained one of the most competitive servers in pRO History.

What made the server merge so memorable is because it will never be the same again. Yes, I may be mingling with same people and just gaining additional acquaintances from Loki but still being a resident of Chaos and thriving in Chaos is still a different story. As the last moments of Chaos are fading and there was a grand summon of monsters to signify farewell, my girlfriend and I decided to go away somewhere safe and serene. We went to the floating island in Kunlun. The clouds pass here like travelers bidding farewell, plus the sound is a bit goodbye-ish and uplifting to the soul at the same time. By the server disconnected that faithful evening it felt the same way when I lost a friend.

Because of my respect to this server and the memories I’ve shared and kept here, I made a mini-album entitled “A Tribute to Chaos”. This is a compilation of memories and most of the guilds who resided in Chaos. The background music is Go the distance by Michael Bolton which smoothly went on with the video and its lyrics jive with it as well. Oh the memories.

Top One: Love found beyond distance, beyond servers and beyond differences

It is said that love conquers all. Distance, differences and pain. When love gives you pain, it replaces it with a more meaningful way or path to be in love deeper than before.

I remember when I joined the Love Roks: Rok Star Blues category and got the 2nd place. I thought it will only end there, that love died right before I tried to live. That pain will be on an endless revolution in my life, that love is just like another poison that only tastes sweet. But then again, love conquers all your fears and second thoughts. It calms the soul and yet we tend to live again because of it. Love is like DotA, it is unstoppable and dominating.

Mending a severely shattered heart, I never thought that loving again is going to be this far yet so close. That friendship will grow into a deeper perspective and thrive, and grow further. That beyond distance and timezones, differences and values, love conquers it all.

When I met her in Ragnaboards I never thought a simple conversation about the Biochemist class will end up into real friendship and ultimately into deeper love. From the messageboards, she crossed servers and reached me from Chaos after being one of mainstays in Fenrir. Love braves the distance and it is only the person who limits its power. It was a long, winding, and bittersweet ride. And last March 14, 2007, the prayers have been answered.

When I had the chance to remember everything in a short glimpse, I’d say Ragnarok Online is one of the best things technology gave me. The memories, the friends, the love that makes living more worthwhile. These are my Top 3 Ragnarok Moments.
