Nurses Notes: Don’t Give Up
Sep 23rd, 2007 by SniperAngel

Mental Note: Maybe I’ll update this list maybe tomorrow. I just remember the fragments.
While having a very busy but fruitful Friday afternoon and preparing the medications of my patients I accidentally stumbled upon a pressed paper at the nurse’s station. It is about motivation and staying calm and collected despite the harsh elements around you. It tackled about the typical negative scenarios within the ward.
Don’t give up when everything doesn’t seem to work as planned.
Don’t give up even if your patients are not good to you.
Don’t give up if you don’t have time to eat or drink.
Don’t give up if the doctor yelled at you.
Don’t give up if your superiors reprimand you.
Don’t give up, don’t give up.
For a moment I feel motivated as well, I’m sure some parts of my career as a Nurse I’ll encounter scenarios like these and either take them or just let them go. Patience is a virtue indeed, and patience pay with work and care. I still have three months to hurdle and I’m excited for my second rotation tomorrow. 4am. o.o;
