Ok. What is Nuriko doing in my intro image? You know, Nuriko, the epitome of a female warrior until that dreaded episode when Miaka checked her breasts and sadly, there were no breasts. This is the untold Ragnarok Online story of SniperAngel and his misadventures in-game.

I can remember that day when I created my very first character which is a Priest. I was mesmerized with the image of being holy and being supportive in nature. But instead of creating a male Priest, I created a female Priest for two reasons: 1. I don’t like the way male Priests sit, parang may LBM. 2. I love female characters.

So my career as a Priest went on. She was one of the few Priests who are visible during the beta days, a battle Priest that is. Well I stated battle as her build but I really don’t know. Beta days is the season where you can find strength-based Hunters thinking Bow damage relies on strength or agility-based Wizards because they though more agility lessens casting time. My Priest, as I can still remember, has 50Str 40agi 35vit 60int 40dex and about 40luk. I only branded her as battle because of her record of killing a Knight and some Priests in pvp.

Flexing her muscles, she had her suitors because I’m really supportive in-game. But fooling someone is not even included in my goals. Few months later, the national anthem of pRO was launched- Chicksilog. Chicksilog is the term used when a guy plays a female avatar in-game and fooling everyone around him, to scam or get items from his suitors. Because of this, I decided to create another account although still a female I believe that it will lessen the public frenzy. But I was dead wrong.

My second main account is a shared account. My cousin plays it as well [she even named the character] so the suitors still keep coming all the way. Odd thing though, when my cousin plays the character she was mistaken to be me and when it is my turn I am mistaken to be her. Those days, those dreaded days. I’m telling you, most of them are big personalities in Chaos which is now merged with Loki as Baldur. I was even startled when one of my cousin’s suitors said: “Wag mo naman akong ganitohin, sabihin mo lang kung ayaw mo na sakin lalayo na ko?” Damn. These guys are desperate.

Stepping outside the game, the curse was still at hand. In Ragnaboards, people call me as Ate SA [SniperAngel], or Miss SA, or even Mamsi SA. I’m still having goosebumps when I remember one time that I was secretly paired to a guy who is said to be one of my students in the Biochemist class. Another in a forum I’m in because they thought SniperAngel was a girl.

Was it fun? A bit. It gives me comic relief. But sometimes I pity those individuals who fall for the wrong reason, and play for a bad reason. This is my untold story.
