So what now May?: Plans and not just come what may
Apr 29th, 2007 by SniperAngel
Barely more than a day from now we will be welcoming the fifth month of the year, May. The transitional month of the year between the harsh but fun heat of summer days and the sentimental but meaningful moments of the rainy days. For me, together with this transition are things that will dictate my career and something about my future. For the partial unofficial list of those things are listed below.

1. Settle my political candidates.
Quite a tough decision, especially if you are concerned with the future of this country. My vote will only count as one, but remember that no million votes came out in an instant chunk of a million votes. All boils down to one. One count that can change almost everything in the political system of this country.

2. Gain weight.
Ohh.. Yes I need to gain weight at least 5lbs? I’m so thin right now I’m losing that paperweight status, which is alarming. Alarming? Body Mass Index has an average of 20 as a score, and I think I got 14 last time which is no longer in the values of the said index @.@. Earlier I started with the regimen of Ovaltine as water and sleep as merienda. Lol.
3. Refresh some theoretical knowledge.
My Dad asked me what are my plans for the following months. I’ve been in PMA mode for four months now so I’m really balancing the plans. Starting May, I’ll be reading and refreshing some info because I don’t want the knowledge to spoil and my patients to suffer. Training perhaps will be attended to add up the already existing knowledge I have. Besides, I don’t want to hear someone say “Hindi porket lisensyado ka may utak ka.” to me again. We have a commission that regulates nurses, I passed the requirements with flying colors so that means I have proven something that she may not think I am capable of.
4. Settle the Church Newsletter.
I failed in the Feature Writer Contest. Well, not necessarily failed but perhaps opened into a more spiritual perspective. This month I’ll be leading the church newsletter for the youth’s division. The paper will be released every last sunday of the month. The target release of the maiden issue will be on May 25.
So there, so many plans for some short amount of time. In no time we’ve already finished the first half of the year. Time flies really.
