The Answered Prayer: Almost a year in the making
Oct 9th, 2007 by SniperAngel

I wasn’t able to gather the right words to compose this entry. It happened last Sunday, against all delays, against all of the fiercest storms, there’s no stopping now - she’s coming home for me.
The actual arrival is supposed to be 1:00pm Manila Standard Time, but because of a storm that will cross the path of the plane it was delayed by more than six hours. I was terrified, I thought I won’t be able to fetch her which is the original plan. But my friends gave me enough push to proceed despite the chances of arriving at 2:00am here in Bulacan. The tension is high but they kept me cool. There is no turning back, even a storm cannot stop me [although my mom is worried because of the potentially very late return to Bulacan and a deadly 5:00am duty by Monday].
I bought a Blue Rose and Chocolate Mousse, it should be a White Rose but it was so in demand I was left with Red and Blue ones. Blue is close to white, like my uniform which gives a bluish aura but it is actually white.
By 7:00pm I saw her, talking to me through phone several meters away holding two luggages. I waited until she reached the exit and gave her a warm and long overdue embrace. My heart is pumping so hard it throbs in my head. We went to the car with my Tito and zoomed towards Imus.
God guided us home and we’re in Imus about forty minutes later. Tita Leonor was there together with Adam and Angel, it was a brief encounter but it feels like home. Before I left she gave me a letter and then my Tito and I went back to Bulacan. My eyes start to shut that time, but it was a minute sacrifice considering what she’s been through.
I love you Angel. Welcome home po. ^_^

I love you too Angel. I’m so happy that we’re finally together after such a long wait. Thank you for making my homecoming as special as it was. And now, I look forward to making more wonderful memories with you. ^_^
