The pRO Baldur Foundation: Trailblazing a one of a kind project

When we strive for excellence, sacrifice plays an important role in being a better individual. This is one of pRO-Baldur Website’s initial steps in enhancing its reach by continuously improving its service- the pRO Baldur Foundation.

One of the primary goals of this fund raising project is to maintain the stability of the site. As we all know, if a website is not well maintained it is very prone to server downtimes or crashes. This is what Salleh wants to pursue, forum stability and enhanced features not limited to the game where we share our passion in unison.

“Bakit medyo stable lang? Kasi marami pang setting akong tine-test para ma optimize yung usage ng memory. 128MB lang ang guaranteed memory nitong VPS and all swapfile na ang ginagamit nitong server para deliver ang mga page request natin. To fully realize the benefit of fast and stable board, kailangan mag upgrade to at least 256MB memory kaya lang hindi na kaya ng aming budget yun. Kaya sa ngayon eh pinagkakasya muna namin ang 128MB at idaan na lang muna sa pag optimize ng mga settings. Gayonpaman, we are hoping na sa August ay makapag upgrade uli and at the same time makapag offer ng iba pang services para sa mga members like free hosting ng inyong blog, guild board and personal website.” as told by Salleh.

pRO Baldur is not your typical gaming website. It is an interactive site where gamers that are united by the same game is intertwined by a series of different interests, social aspects like iRL things and the like. It is not limited to just in-game talk, but rather topics that may even help you in your study, your consciousness to health, even your beliefs. And the forum is like a city that never sleeps with an average online users of 70 during peak hours and up to 30 past midnight. This means that the continuity is there, the passion is there.
