The Second Chance of Life

When my distant friend was caught taking drugs at school, he was sent to the drug rehab program for a drug addiction treatment. It was painstaking for him but he really needs such program. He was under the program for about a year and after which, I saw his old self once again.
He is a very talented athlete and is one of the best bets of the school in the Swimming Department. He must have been into drugs because of peer pressure and internal anxiety. But he told me that the drug treatment is so effective he was able to gain back his old self. He is now the lead coaches of the team and is one of the school’s strongest advocates of sports to divert the students from the influence of drugs.
When we commit mistakes in the past, it doesn’t mean life is no longer worth living. It is actually, more worth living because you’ve experienced something not everyone went into. I didn’t mean, go and take drugs, what I mean is in case you’ve been there- don’t stay there. Go on, proceed and enjoy life more. Who knows, this might be a hurdle that will bring you to a gold medal later on.

Wow. That’s amazing, honestly. I can’t believe someone could actually do that. It sure shows that people could do alot more with their life than waste it on smoking…
