Thoughts of a Friend
Aug 15th, 2007 by SniperAngel
Despite the frustration of poor internet connection and the rain-shine weather, I was able to accomplish some things today. Together with that just right before midnight was a message that literally made me cry. It’s not a death note or a love letter, but a simple message of thanks.
The only thing I remembered is that I met my friend in Ragnaboards. We loved the same character class and discussed everything about it there. He is a kind forum member that entertains character questions as much as I do. A happy go lucky guy but still has his sensitive side and loves his girlfriend deeply, he is one of my “constants” during my duty and review breaks. We can talk about anything, our girlfriends and the game we play.
He gave me the one of the important lessons in life, to take it wholeheartedly and to enjoy it. Avoid being so serious because life is shorter than we think. And despite some downs in his life he still manages to keep up and smile.
I think the most memorable part of meeting him is to help me face what I have to, and not running away from it. He helped me knew what I want, what I need. He showed me that if I chose not to be free now, I won’t be happy as I want to. And most importantly, he squeezed out the emotions that are locked inside me, and inside her.
The message is almost like “Thanks James.” But it struck me so hard. One reason is that I will no longer be able to see him online because he left the game, another maybe because he is one of the best friends this world can offer. He is one of the few people who can understand, serious and light all at the same time.
Thanks Paul. God Bless.
